Electrify Queenstown is a three-day event that brings together community, business, government, and industry to accelerate the transition to a low-emissions, electrified future.
Our 2025 event was our biggest yet—with booked out speaker sessions, national media coverage, and incredible kōrero across key topics such as energy, transport, tourism, policy, and climate resilience. From keynote speakers, politicians and expert panels to hands-on demos, electric field trips, and grassroots conversations, Electrify Queenstown 2025 showed what’s possible when we come together with purpose.

Destination Queenstown is the local Regional Tourism Organisation responsible for destination marketing and management.
Queenstown is on a journey to achieve regenerative tourism by 2030, with a carbon zero visitor economy. Electrify Queenstown helps encourage local homes and businesses to transition to electrification and renewable energy.

QUEENSTOWN EVENTS CENTRE
The Queenstown Events Centre is wheelchair-friendly.
Parking: There are three accessible parking spaces located on the left-hand side as you enter the main car park. Wheelchair access to the QEC is available through the doors on the right-hand side.
Speaker Sessions, Panels, Exhibition and Displays and Workshops: These are located on the ground floor where there are also two accessible toilets.
