Electrify Queenstown is a three-day event that brings together community, business, government, and industry to accelerate the transition to a low-emissions, electrified future.
Our 2025 event was our biggest yet—with booked out speaker sessions, national media coverage, and incredible kōrero across key topics such as energy, transport, tourism, policy, and climate resilience. From keynote speakers, politicians and expert panels to hands-on demos, electric field trips, and grassroots conversations, Electrify Queenstown 2025 showed what’s possible when we come together with purpose.

Electrify Queenstown is an event designed for homeowners and businesses looking to explore the benefits of electrification and renewable energy. It offers talks, workshops, an exhibition and experiences covering everything from government policy to practical applications like adopting solar energy and converting vehicle fleets to EVs.
Electrify Queenstown will be held from May 17 to May 19, 2026, at the Queenstown Events Centre.

Absolutely! The exhibition will cutting-edge electrical tech, as well as opportunities to test drive the latest EVs.
There will be plenty of networking opportunities, including morning and afternoon teas and lunches where you can connect with business leaders, innovators, and energy experts.
To reduce environmental impact of the event, we encourage you to arrive by walking, cycling, scooting or taking public transport. If you need to drive, try to use an EV and consider car sharing.

Check local cycling routes to plan your cycling trip. Cycle racks are provided at the entrance.
Electric Scooters:
Beam operates in Queenstown. Use Google Maps or download the Beam app for more information.
Public Transport:
The Queenstown Events Centre is a 850m / 12-minute walk from the closest bus stop. Check Queenstown's bus schedule for routes and timings.
Parking:
If you must drive, please try to use an electric vehicle and/or car share. See above for an exclusive deal with Ryd. Very limited on-site car parking is available for visitors.

The Queenstown Events Centre is wheelchair-friendly.
Parking: There are three accessible parking spaces located on the left-hand side as you enter the main car park. Wheelchair access to the QEC is available through the doors on the right-hand side.
Speaker Sessions, Panels, Exhibition and Displays and Workshops: These are located on the ground floor where there are also two accessible toilets.
